Why More Men Need To Be Like Edward Cullen

.Ok, let's start off by saying Sigmund Freud, a world renowned psychologist said that after thirty years of studying people, and there desires that there was still one question he couldn't answer: "What do women want"?..

Nearly a century later we might have found the answer in a teen romance series that hit the world by storm, I'm sure you know of it: "Twilight".

That's right, Stephanie Myers captured the imagination and fantasy of millions, and millions of fans (particularly women) around the globe. If you can recall, Edward, the main character in the book who happens to be a vampire, is considered the ultimate ladies man.

Now if you're a typical guy then you probably blew all that twilight fluff off without a second thought... I mean common' if it's a book that millions and millions of girls are obsessing over, why would a masculine dude like yourself want to read this erotic trash?

Umm well maybe because this character Edward is a guy that every women is obsessing over, and he's nothing more than print on a page (and a character in a movie now). Seriously guy's common. You complain that women can't just tell you what makes them happy, what they want from you; but this chick wrote an ENTIRE SERIES on what women want, and fantasize about! Maybe you should take a hint and umm read these books!

Now I understand you're not a vampire, and I'm definitely not encouraging you dress up like one and try to pick women up at the movie theatres; but you could learn what exactly makes Edward so ideal to sooo many women.

I'll give you a few hints.

Well for starters he does something from the start that is nearly impossible: He chooses Bella. This is huge for soo many reasons. A few being: women are always the selectors, and men the selectee. It's how nature is, and isn't going to change anytime soon. But there are convenient ways to "hack the system" and Edward did that flawlessly. He could have had any female in that school, and all the girls knew that. He was completely social proof. But he chose Bella, the normal teenage girl. She's pretty, but she wasn't the hottest girl in the school. The fact that he chooses her is a huge turn on for women. It takes the power from them, and shifts it to you. Being powerless is a common female fantasy; and I'm saying that based on numerous studies.

Then Edward kept playing his cards right when Bella become interested in him he made her chase him.. HARD. He even tried to convince her not to like him, and what did that do? It made her want him even more... Interesting...

Edward is a vampire and he has an unbelievably strong desire for Bella's blood. Guys in human terms that means he wants Bella soo bad that he can hardly control himself. If you're sitting in your computer chair right now thinking "I did that once! I wanted Mary soo bad that I could hardly keep myself in my seat in high school! In fact I dreamed of her a few times, but when I told her that she just slapped me, and called me a freak!"

Well that's because you are not Edward, and you probably don't have your choice of all the females. If you did, then it probably would have turned Mary on that you were choosing her, and no one else.

Have you ever met anyone that can run up trees, can move at the speed of light, and has enough strength to stop a train; but is composed into one nice, "fit" little bundle of handsome flesh?

Yea, me neither. So what does that make Edward? It makes him different in a DESIRABLE way. He is incredibly unique, and that is a big plus in his sex appeal resume.

If you thought bringing your girlfriend around town on that leash last year was different, you were right. It just wasn't different in a good way. So instead of making you look cool, and interesting; it just made you look like a weirdo.

Ok, so we've covered Edwards social proof, and his choosing of Bella. We just discussed how he had an unnatural attraction and desire for her, and how he was different in a good way, now we're going to get a little stalkerish with it...

Edward is a vampire. Vampires don't sleep. So Edward does what any other normal teenage vampire would do... He watches Bella sleep.. All night.. Every night.

Ok, if you go out and try that I hope you get arrested. It is creepy, invasive, and wrong. So stay away from your girlfriends window tonight please.

But why exactly is that such a turn on for Bella? Well because he is extremely protective with her, but in a good way. He cares about her so much that he sits at her window for hours just to make sure she's safe. What you don't see Edward doing is going through her text messages and screaming at her for talking to Ben who she's been friends with since she was a kid. That's jealously and it tends to be annoying, not attractive. So protective is HOT, jealously is NOT.
Pretty simple guys.

Edward is also brutally honest: "Honestly—I've seen corpses with better color."

Oww! That was harsh Ed, but Bella still seems really into you..

Edward has a really nice sense of humor sometimes. He knows exactly how to tease her, and make fun of her without really hurting her feelings. Part of this is because Bella is a good sport about it, and can take a joke, but Edward is just a really clever little smart ass.

Edward emanates with power. He could kill Bella in two seconds and never get caught for it. Don't lie girls, that's exhilarating. But what's even more exhilarating is that she knows he wouldn't ever hurt her, not on purpose at least. So that is like the ultimate turn on... Strength under control.

I could go on and on about why more men should be more like Edward, and I plan to. Just not tonight. Tell me what you think about this post, and give some kudos, and I'll be back again with an even more in depth look at twilight, and Edward Cullen.
